Services & Policies

OFFICE:  Hours can fluctuate as we are out and about with projects – if you don’t find us there, someone will always be at the Dock-house who can help connect the dots. Otherwise, swing by to purchase your Harmony Beach pint glasses & clothing. We also have a selection of books, puzzles, games, and DVDs to use during your stay.

DOCK SERVICE:  Opens early and closes by Sunset, official hours are posted by the dock house. Fish cleaning/packaging is provided.  A tip for the Dock Crew is appreciated at the end of your stay. 

DOCK SLIPS: Check in with our dock crew as they will assign you a specific dock slip if you bring your own ride or use one of our rentals.

BOAT RENTALS: If you are renting one of our boats, please plan on getting a run through with the dock team on your boat’s operational features, safety, GPS, and signing of the liability waiver prior to your adventures.

TRAILER PARKING: Once you launch your boat at the Kabetogama Visitor Center (1/4 mile down the road), please park your trailer in our upper trailer parking lot so the main resort area can be less congested.

BAIT, PREMIUM GAS, & ICE:  Available to purchase at the Dock-house.

BATTERY CHARGING AND GAS:  Outlets for charging are at each dock slip. If you bring your own gas cans (full or empty), they must be stored by your vehicle. They cannot be stored by the cabins, decks, or docks.

WI-FI:  Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.  No password is needed, just sign-in an surf.

HOT TUB:  Located in the Villas and is for registered Villa guests ONLY. Minors must be supervised by an adult.

KAYAKS AND PADDLEBOAT:  Available for guest use at the resort. Life jackets must be worn.

SAFETY:  There is NO lifeguard on duty.  Children must wear a life jacket and be supervised by an adult when they are by the beach, dock, and on the aqua-trampoline.

REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY: Arrangements need to be made in advance if you would like a visitor for part of the day.

EXTRA PERSON FEES: Each Cabin rental has a set base occupancy and a max capacity.  For each adult over the base rate there is a $25 per night charge per person.  Children 12 and under are not charged any additional accommodation fees, however, they do count toward total occupancy #s.

QUIET TIME: 9PM-9AM:  Please be respectful of other guests.

NO FIREWORKS

TORNADO WATCH/WARNING:  Seek shelter in the Bay View Lodge basement (enter on the south side) or the Villa’s basement (enter on the west side).

SMOKING:  All of our buildings are 100% smoke free. If you must smoke, please partake away from other guests and cabins while outside. Ash pails are provided.

PETS: We understand that dogs are a part of your family, that’s why dogs are allowed with permission in most of our cabins.  Dogs are not allowed in the Villas, the Bay View Lodge or the Office.  We do not allow other pets (i.e. cats, birds etc.). We will ask you so sign a pet contract.

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outdoors, even well-behaved ones, as not everyone is fond of pets. A shock collar is not considered a leash. We expect the owners to clean up after their pets inside and outside of the cabin. During your stay, there may be times when you are out and your dog wants to stay in, you will need to crate your dog during these times.  We do not allow pets to be left free-roaming in the cabin or to be tied up outside while you are away.  In the crate or with you are the only options so that no damage is done to the facilities. Absolutely no dogs are allowed on the furniture, on spare blankets or on the beds. Please bring their beds and their blankets for their comfort.  Be sure to rinse off sandy/muddy dog paws and dry off wet dogs before entering your cabin.  If you find that you need special cleaning supplies during your stay, please let us know. The Harmony Beach Resort does not assume any liability for your dog’s actions while on resort grounds.  You are financially responsible for any damage caused by your pet.

The pet fee is $25 daily/$175 weekly per pet.   There is a maximum of 2 dogs per cabin.

You will need to bring your own blankets/comforters for your cabin if you are bringing a pet.  Sheets, pillows, and pillow cases will still be provided.

DEPOSIT POLICY:  A 33% Deposit is required to secure and confirm a reservation on all cabins, villas, and boats.  Rate varies due to seasonality and holidays. Please select your dates on our online booking calendar for an exact quote.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Since we are a small family resort that books well in advance of stays, we must enforce a strict cancellation policy. If you must cancel your trip for any reason, a deposit refund (less a 15% processing fee) will only be granted if we can rebook your unit. If we are unable to rebook your cabin, villa, or boat during the same dates, we are unable to refund any portion of the deposit.

BILLING:  Balance for your stay is due upon Check-In, for quick and easy processing just click the link in your email notifications to process securely online. Otherwise, stop by the office to process at Check-in if need cash / check options.  Tabs for bait/gas/ice/etc is due the day before your departure. We will email you an invoice which you can simply pay online, or stop by the office to make your payment via cash/check – Thank you!

Note: We do pass on a 3.5% processing fee on all credit card transactions.
E-check/ACH bank transfers are free, and we also accept checks & cash.

CHECK-OUT: By 9:00AM, Sorry, no exceptions!

YOUR DEPARTURE: 

  • Ventilate:  Open all windows and doors as much as possible prior to leaving (unless it is raining).
  • Remove ALL garbage and food.   Put all garbage in the outside garbage cans.
  • Dishes:  Clean all dishes with soap and water & wipe dry.
  • Make sure you have rebooked for the next year as we are running at full capacity many weeks of the season and want to give priority placement to all of our amazing loyal guests!
