Established 1938

One of the earliest formed resorts in the area, the Harmony Beach Resort has been hosting generations of families, groups, and individuals for many decades. In fact, most guests tend to rebook the same cabins for the same weeks year-after-year, making a vacation tradition in the true northland!

Situated directly on Lake Kabetogama, which is known for its scenic beauty and excellent fishing, the resort is also positioned for immediate access to Voyageurs National Park.

A vacation paradise awaits as you explore a vast expanse of interconnecting waterways and unspoiled wilderness forests encompassing 219,000 acres on the Minnesota-Canadian border.

We have 13 Cabins, 4 Villas, and the Bay View Lodge available for accommodations, plus a full service marina.

The Sirnys

Dylan & Kristina Sirny took over the stewardship of Harmony Beach in the fall of 2022, and have been carrying on the family tradition of the resort.

After numerous years at his family cabins and expeditions boating, sailing, and camping all over northern Minnesota & Wisconsin, Dylan is fulfilling a life-long dream of getting back to the majestic sanctuary of the true northland.

We are so grateful for the warm welcome from all the families who visited the past few years and look forward to seeing you once again back at Kab!

Our Dock Crew is dedicated to helping guests with all boat, fishing, and exploration needs.

Gas & bait is available right on the water. Fish processing is also included for guests.

The Crew is known for being “Johnny on the spot” when it comes to taking care of the marina and all the guests who come to our shores.

Balsam Cabin

"Perfect Family Reunion!"

This was the perfect setting for our family (50 people) vacation! There was something to do for everyone, including swimming, jumping off the water raft / trampoline, fishing, hiking, and just relaxing on the beach or dock. I was really impressed with the dock crew - they did a great job helping people docking and launching the boats, and were very kind, professional, and helpful. We took many trips on the boats, visiting the islands, fishing, and enjoying the water. The cabins were cozy, clean, and comfortable. With no AC, they did get warm during the day but at night with windows open and the fans provided, we slept comfortably. They all came well-stocked with dishes and utensils, so we really didn't need to bring much. I'd love to come back here soon!

Otter Cabin

"Cute Cabin on Kab"

We stayed in the Otter cabin for several nights, and it was great- super clean, with a fully stocked kitchen, and a deck overlooking the trees and Lake Kabetogama. I was surprised how new and updated the cabin was, with lots of seating and shelves for storage. The front office and dock staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Walleye Villa

"Wonderful Stay!"

We had a great stay here for a week in August of 2024 in the condo/villa building. We work remotely and were on a long roadtrip through the northern midwest. Prior to our stay, I was concerned about internet in the area, but we had no issues at all! The internet was fast enough for us to be in meetings all day without issue. It’s amazing that you can be out in an area like this with great internet! The villa itself was clean and comfortable. The outdoor balcony was great, and we saw deer all week. The hot tub was wonderful too! You can only use this when staying in the villas so we were the only ones in it the three nights we used it. The only thing that I didn’t like were the flies (at least I think they were a type of fly?). Around dusk, they swarmed everywhere (outside of course) for the first couple of days we were there, and then they weren’t a problem. No idea why it was such a problem and then not. The owners are great and kind, and we really enjoyed our stay here. It seems most people come here…

Sunset Cabin

"Great time in Sunset Cabin"

Had a great time in the sunset cabin with my wife and our dog. It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. We would definitely return. The cabin was spotless and had lots of cups/dishes/utensils to use. It was really easy to find the resort. Lots of good places to eat within an easy 10-20 min drive. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful from our cabin and the dock. Beautiful night skies and super quiet. We did a boat tour with a local guide but we would definitely rent a boat next time as they all looked to be in good shape. Dylan (the owner) was great to work with and answered all of our questions. Make sure to bring your own towels, and extra pillows and blankets, cooking oil, seasonings etc if you want. That wasn’t an issue for us though. Looking forward to coming back!

Dockside Cabin

"Nice Cabin in Voyageurs National Park"

Had a great time at Harmony Beach Resort! The staff were very friendly and the guys at the dock did an amazing job. We enjoyed renting a boat and fishing and site seeing on the water! Cabin was nice and had lots of dishes and cooking items. Our goal is to visit every National Park and we were happy to come visit this one for sure!
